Method Improved for 2011/12

Up until four years ago I worked in the Midlands in a boring factory job, until one day I got very lucky and heard those magic words…

So with only my Statutory Redundancy payout (= next to nothing) and a lot of free time on my hands I decided that the time was right to upscale my betting activities.

You see I had been making extra cash from my betting for the previous 7 years and now was my opportunity to go full time.

I started out by arbitraging the bookies football coupons against Betfair, which made me guaranteed money, but it’s very hard to upscale because there are only so many shops you can get around in a day and, well you know how hard the bookies make it once they know you are a winner!!

So for the past year I have been concentrating more on finding value and creating methods that find those value bets quickly.

That brought me to writing for the Betting School and to proofing my  Scoring For Profit system to Steve Carter who is the Editor at the Betting School.

It was just after I started at the Betting School that I won the World Cup betting competition on the Betfair forum (using this system)

Scoring for Profit is a laying system, which is very simple but it finds bets with locked in guaranteed value every week.

Last season the system made a level stake profit of over 79 points (2010/11 season)

• Average of 12 bets per week
• Strike Rate > 89%
• Profit after commission 79 points

So we improved it!

So far this season (6th August to 19th February)

• 333 Bets
• Strike Rate > 90%
• Profit after commission >120 points
